70% of America opposes the Ground Zero mosque:
- Nearly 70% of all Americans oppose the plan to build the Ground Zero Mosque: 54% of Democrats, 82% of Republicans, and 70% of Independents.
Imam Rauf of the Ground Zero Mosque believes in Shariah Supremacy.
- Rauf said in Arabic to Sa’da Abdul Maksoud of the Hadiyul-Islam website, “…it is clear an Islamic state can be established in more than just a single form or mold. It can be established through a kingdom or a democracy. The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of Sharia that are required to govern… Current governments are unjust and do not follow Islamic laws."
- Imam Rauf has created a Shariah Index Project , advertised the Cordoba Initiative website, on which to rate countries world wide on their compliance with Shariah Law, which is the Law of Iran, Sudan, Saudi Arabia , Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The website was re-designed, and the Shariah Index Project deleted after it was exposed by journalists. A PDF is available capturing the original site and project.
Imam Rauf wrote a book extolling the virtues of Shariah Law titled What’s Right with Islam is What’s Right with America for US readers, and titled A Call to Prayer from the World Trade Center Rubble in 30+ other countries.
- First published in Malaysia and entitled, A Call to Prayer from the World Trade Center Rubble: Islamic Dawa in the Heart of America Post-9/11 “Dawa, whether done from the rubble of the World Trade Center or elsewhere, is the missionary work by which Islam is spread. ... The purpose of dawa, like the purpose of jihad, is to implement, spread, and defend Sharia. ... through means other than violence and agents other than terrorists."
- In Dec. 2007 Rauf promoted his book at a Kuala Lumpur Hizb ut Tahrir meeting, a Shariah Jihad group banned in Germany since 2003 and outlawed in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, among other places, but not the U.S.
Rauf speaks about Cordoba Mosque role in foreign policy and communications. The essence of his words being that the media will bring a different view of Islam to the America people and then our foreign policy will change in their direction

“The interview, given on June 20th, 2006, sees Rauf speaking about his ‘game plan’ for achieving an Islamic State without borders, which — in his mind — has previously existed and should have continued to exist, if not for Western interference in the last century. The Ground Zero mosque imam also discusses some of his other objectives which include: (1) manipulating U.S. foreign policy, (2) advocating for Hamas and (3) getting ‘power’ on his side to push back the opposing ‘interests.’”

So we have foreign policy, is one area, you have communications is another area, you have education as the third area, for example, you have intra-Islamic issues is the fourth area, arts and culture is the fifth area.”
Imam Rauf’s Cordoba partner is Jamal Barzinji, founder of the radical Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia, USA, and
- Rauf’s partner, Jamal Barzini mentored and hired Anwar Awlaki, the California radicalized youth, now Imam responsible for inspiring the Christmas Day, Times Square and Ft. Hood bomber and current spokesman for Al-Qaeda.
- Rauf’s partner, Jamal Barzini, has been tied to terror plots, and the 9/11 attack.
Rauf is affiliated with radical organizations, refuses to condemn Jihad groups, blames America for Sept 11th, and refuses to acknowledge that Shariah Jihadists were responsible for the Sept 11th massacre.

- Referring to the Sept 11th massacre, Rauf said : "U.S. policies were an accessory to the crime that happened. We (the U.S.) have been an accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. Osama bin Laden was made in the USA."
- ASMA established the Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow. Imam Rauf’s appointees include Al-Qaeda supporter Yasir Qadhi, CAIR-NY community affairs director Faiza N. Ali and CAIR-NY community organizer Debbie Almontaser. In 2009, the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI) cut all ties to CAIR for financially supporting Hamas.
- In response to a question about whether he condemns Hamas terrorism, Rauf stated: "I'm not a politician. I try to avid the issues. The issue of terrorism is a very complex question. I'm a bridge builder. I do not want to be placed in a position where I am the target of one side or the other." – Interview on 8/26/10 with Aaron Klein, WABC Radio.
- “Rauf sparked controversy last month when he refused during a live radio interview to condemn violent jihad groups as terrorists. Rauf repeatedly refused on the air to affirm the U.S. designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization or call the Muslim Brotherhood "extremists.”
The name Cordoba is synonymous with brute conquest & Shariah Islamic superiority. The Cordoba Initiative was the original name of the Ground Zero Mosque, and later changed to “Park 51”, when the meaning of “Cordoba” was exposed.
- “Given the long history of mosque-building following Muslim military victories, the building of the Cordoba House on Ground Zero will be seen in the same light as the Muslim conquests of Mecca, Jerusalem, and Constantinople”…....” the Great Mosque, or Mezquita, of Cordoba was itself a Visigoth Church that was converted and rebuilt as a mosque following Muslim conquest in 784.”
- Cordoba was a capital of Iberia’s Muslim caliphate from 929 to 1031.
- Christians and Jews were second-class citizens and had to pay a jizya (tax).
- Christians had to wear the symbol of a pig; Jews, an ape.
- In order to have any freedoms “infidels” had to convert to Islam.
Imam Rauf and his wife Daisy Khan, refused to sign the “Freedom Pledge”, created by the group Former Muslims United. The Pledge, copied in in part below, asks Muslim leaders to revoke and recant the mandated Shariah death sentence for Muslims who have left the faith of Islam (known as “apostates”).
- “We call on you, as a Muslim leader, to help us educate the American public and policymakers about the need for Muslims to repudiate the threat from authoritative Shariah to the religious freedom and safety of former Muslims. We are all aware of incidents of intimidation, threats of violence and actual assaults against former Muslims. We reach out to you with a sincere hope that you and your organization will join with us in ensuring peace and justice, safety and freedom for Muslims and former Muslims alike.”
Since early 2009, Rauf and his wife have worked for the U.S. State Department and have or will embark on a taxpayer funded “bridge building tour” to foster "greater understanding" about Islam and Muslim communities in the United States.
- This trip raises concerns that taxpayers are footing the bill to help Imam raise the $100 million dollars needed for the Ground Zero Mosque.
- Rauf will be making stops in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar
- Despite White House and State Department denials, London's Arsharq Alawsat reported in Arabic that Rauf might use the U.S.-funded travel to raise money for his Ground Zero mosque.
- Public funding of Imam Rauf with taxpayer dollars, is a violation of the First Amendment, and Establishment Clause of the U.S., which ensures separation of Church and State.
Mayor Bloomberg supports the Ground Zero Shariah mosque as well as Shariah Finance.
- In 2009, the Regional Head of Bloomberg Middle East and South Asia, Max Linnington announced the entry of Bloomberg LLC into Shariah Finance. Mayor Bloomberg privately owns 85% of Bloomberg LLC.

- Bloomberg News has posted or written many articles referencing the credibility of the AAOIFI, the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic FInancial Institutions, without ever disclosing the material facts below about the founder and Chairman of the AAOIFI, Sheik Qawadari. Might this omission of fact be related to its parent Company, Bloomberg LLP’s entry into the Shariah Finance business in 2009? - First AAOIFI Chairman Sheik Qawadari is the founder of the Union of Good, a group of 56 Muslim Charities, which were designated as a sponsor of terrorism by the US TSY.
- First AAOIFI Chairman Sheik Qawadari was banned for entering the USA in 1999 and the UK in 2008 because of his ties to terrorism.
- First AAOIFI Chairman Sheik Qawadari referred to "zakat" ( loosely translated as "charity" in English) as ''jihad with money, because it allows us to fight out enemy with our lives and our money, in a 2006 BBC interview.
- First AAOIFI Chairman Sheik Qawadari, issued a Death Fatwa on Dr. Wafa Sultan for criticizing Islam and for apostasy which forced Dr. Sultan to leave her California home and go into hiding. Dr. Wafa Sultan, a Syrian born psychiatrist & American citizen, named in 2006 by Time Magazine in a list of 100 influential people in the world "whose power, talent or moral example is transforming the world".
White House Appointee appointees have ties to Imam Rauf , endorse Shariah , and Shariah Finance.
- Obama official with ties to Rauf is Vartan Gregorian, the president of Carnegie Corp. charitable foundation who was appointed by Obama last year as a White House fellow.

- Hizb ut-Tahrir preaches an ideology that calls for the destruction of the principles that America is founded on," said Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American-Islamic Forum for Democracy. Hizb ut Tahrir a terror group banned in over 20 countries including Saudi Arabia.
- In June, Obama appointed 13 fellows to the White House. One of them (Samar Ali) is a Shariah Finance expert. Ali has been a delegate at the World Islamic Economic Forum. According to Shariah Finance Watch, "[I]t was at the World Islamic Economic Forum where key leaders declared Shariah finance to be "dawa" (missionary) activity to promote the supremacy of Islam.
